If what you are looking forward to scaling your Kanban implementation to several teams and deepen your knowledge about Kanban, we are also providing the Certified Kanban Management Professional course (#KMP2).
This is a very lively example of using #gamification in #Vodafone. It shows the self-organization emerging within a team. Turn the volume up :).
One might think, at a first look, that using a game is not helpful, because it doesn’t map a “real” work environment.
We agree to disagree with that point of view.
When using a game to teach/demonstrate/have the participants walk a mile on this new pair of shoes, we focus on the skills/concept/technique on what we are providing coaching/training. Here we are focusing on self-organization.
We gain that focus by leaving out everything which is not relevant.
For those of you that can’t make it to the #ICAgile Certified #AgileCoach course in #Berlin, we are happy to announce that we are offering the same course, 2 weeks later, in the beautiful city of #Lisbon / #Lisboa. Please have a look here: https://buff.ly/2U91NmT
Just found this great article via LinkedIn: https://buff.ly/2uvxRqz. This also applies to feedback. I have seen a lot of companies using it to serve critiques. In the best case, some are constructive. If you never reflect on what is going well, people’s heart rate will raise every time you mention feedback. If one does not know what is working well, we will lose focus on those things/mindsets/behavior. This also applies to retrospectives. If your team doesn’t reflect on what is working well, they will drop it without even noticing it. #culture #feedback #constructability #agilecoaching #ricardojmestre
